BIO
Even his first EP was a sensation. "Notaufnahme", a collaboration with Tigerskin on Liebe*Detail, was rated by Magda, Troy Pierce, Roman Flügel, Steve Bug and countless more. And since then he's released on pivotal techno labels from Sender to Leftroom, as well as creating his own Heimatmelodie label, named after his longstanding Essen residency.
Rave reviews for that label's first three EPs - Tigerskin, Spektre and Alfredo Clonk - and more plays from Magda and Troy Pierce as well as new fans like Claude Von Stroke, Karotte and Dave Ellesmere, gave Crom a lift into the international techno circuit - gigs from London to Leeds, Parma to Vancouver...
"DJing means nothing less than fulfillment to me," says Andre Crom. "Standing behind the decks and making the people on the floor have a good time is what i love most to do in life. In my eyes, a DJ should always try to create the best possible experience for the guests on the dancefloor but never forget to maintain his own style. I play a mixture of house, minimal house and techno, always fine-tuned for the different clubs and crowds of each night and spiced up with own productions, loops, edits and weird samples."
